Through the esteemed column of the  News Paper, I would like to draw the attention of relevant authorities towards the poor condition of graveyards of the Bahawalpur City due  to indifference of authorities, encroachments by the land-mafia etc;besides    NO  BOUNDARY WALLS  constructed  to  fix the limitations of graveyards premises.

Mostly graveyards are "dens" for addicted persons to fulfill their requirements with different items  {(I. e) ALCOHOL,  HEROINE, BHANG, CHARAS}, criminals are habitual of gambling in cemeteries fearlessly from Police Department and District Administration, grave - digger's cattle's are permanent residents with other elements like wandering dogs spoiling the sanctity of cemeteries.

Common people feels fear visiting at night in the graveyards  as they are in the control of different "MAFIA" but major issue is, there is NO availability of lights due to citizens are facing several problems at the time of burial processing of their dear-ones with profound  grief, due to these unavoidable circumstances at night they arrange lighting system with their own resources and expenditures.  As the population of the city is on increasing with high ratio, graveyards have reached on their maximum capacity 

In this context local residents have recorded their protests/demands to the Honorable Commissioner Bahawalpur. Division Mr Saqib Zafar and District .Administration that kindly look into the matter with serious consideration  by giving orders to construct Boundary Walls around the graveyards and prohibit entrance of addicted persons, gamblers,  so called Fake-Saints  to the prevention of black magics etc. and  to restore the sanctity of cemeteries and it will be highly appreciated if some area of land allotted for new graveyard to the ease of locals of Bahawalpur city.
