LAHORE(By Our Correspondent)Punjab Chief
Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif today went to the residence of a labourer
Irfan Ali in Bhagarian Village, Green Town who was killed in a tragic incident
at Sundar Industrial Estate. He sympathized with the father, widow and other
family members of the deceased and also offered Fateha for the departed soul.
The wife of Irfan Ali informed the Chief Minister that her husband was the only
bread earner of the family and they live in a rented house. Upon this, the
Chief Minister announced to provide a house to the family of Irfan Ali. He said
that Punjab government will also bear educational and medical expenses of the
children of the deceased labourer. He said that the six years old disabled son
of Irfan Ali would be given admission in the school and will also be provided
treatment. The Chief Minister gave the cheque of the financial assistance to
the widow of the deceased. Shehbaz Sharif said that he was deeply grieved over
the tragic incident and his sympathies are with the bereaved families. He said
that inquiry is being conducted and action will be taken against the persons
responsible for the negligence. He said that best treatment facilities are
being provided to injured persons. Spokesman Punjab government Zaeem Hussain
Qadri MPA, Commissioner Lahore Division and concerned officials were also
present on the occasion.
