BAHAWALPUR(PR)The University spokesman has said that one student was injured in a clash between few students at Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus yesterday. The security staff immediately rushed to the spot the squad and took control of the situation. Few outsiders were also spotted at the incident place.  The university administration has sent cases against involved students to disciplinary committee to probe the matter till Monday 23 May 2016. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against involved students according to the recommendations given by the committee. Further, legal action will also be taken against outside elements involved in the incident. The spokesperson has assured that nobody will be allowed to spoil peaceful academic environment of the campus prevailing successfully since last two years. 

Department of English is going to conduct public defence of Noshaba Younus  on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 11.00 am

 

Bahawalpur(PR ) The Department of English is going to conduct public defence of Noshaba Younus, a PhD HEC scholar in English Linguistics on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 11.00 am in the Video Conference Room Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus. Noshaba Younus completed her PhD research project entitled “Use of L1 through Sandwich Approach to Improve Listening and Comprehension Skills for SLD in Pakistani Learners” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mamuna Ghani, Chairperson Department of English, Dean Faculty of Arts and Islamic Learning. Dr. Abdul Khaliq from Ghazi University DG Khan and Dr. Asma Shehzad Chairperson department of Humanities COMSATS Vehari Campus will grace the occasion as external examiners. Teachers, researchers, research scholars and students are invited to attend the defence.
