BAHAWALPUR(PR)The
increasing quantum of public complaints lodged at complaints cell established
at Regional police office Bahawalpur is a practical manifestation of the rising
level of people's trust on the regional complaints office for the redressal of
their grievances. This was claimed by a spokes person of complaints cell of
regional police office Bahawalpur here today.
"Under the direction of
Regional Police Officer Dr. Ehsan Sadiq the complaints cell is supervised by
SSP RIB Gohar Mushtaq Bhutta received 787 complaints during the first 5 months
of the running year which is almost too fold vis-a-vis the complaints received
in the similar period of the previous year which stood at 447", the spokes
person maintained.
The spokes person further maintained
that as the quantum of lodging complaints at region's office rose, the quantum
of registering complaints at the provincial level has got reduced as well.

collector Dr. Ehtisham Anwer Mahaar has issued his program of visiting
different Patwar and Qanungo circles to inspect revenue records of both
Patwaris and Qanungos in different parts of Bahawalpur district.
According to program District
Collector would visit: - Chak No. 56-A/DB and Qanungo circle Yazman-1 on June
1st; Moza Ahmadpur Kohna and Qanungo circle Ahmadpur Urban in tehsil Ahmadpur
east on June 8th; Moza Kharal Khairpur Tamewali and Qanungo circle tehsil
Khairpur Tamewali on June 15th; Moza Hasilpur old and Qanungo circle Hasilpur
old on June 22nd and Chak No. 12-A/BC and Qanungo circle Himaiti-1 tehsil
Bahawalpur city on June 29th.
During the visit District Collector
would inspect the revenue records of both Patwaris and Qanungos of these areas.
ADC has issued a proposed amended property tax
for the urban areas for the fiscal year 2016-17

District Collector Ms. Imrana Ajmal has issued a proposed amended property tax
for the urban areas for the fiscal year 2016-17. This newly proposed property
tax's relevant documents are accessible to public at the offices of sub
registrars in the district. This newly amended property tax is scheduled would
be effective from July 2016 onward. All citizens have been asked to get their
objections and suggestions get registered within the next 15 days.

glorious and shinning tradition of having outstanding academic institutions.
However, she called upon educationists and all segments of society to join
their hands to promote modern education to accelerate the pace of
socio-economic development. She appreciated the efforts of school principal and
extend gratitude for socialization of the children in a proper and well
organized manner.

called upon all relevant quarters to mobilize all available resources to
accelerate the pace of developmental work to preserve the cultural and
civilizational heritage of the historic
city of Bahawalpur.
“The restoration were to preserve and campaign the
cultural heritage which is depicted in historic gates and buildings were
warrants close, tangible and sustainable inter-action between PHA Bahawalpur,
District Administration Bahawalpur, Bahawalpur Waste Management Company and
other relevant departments of Bahawalpur City”, he underlined.

level meeting to review the development work for beautification of the city in

The meeting was attended by DCO Dr. Ehtasham Anwar
Mahar, MD Cholistan Development Authority Naeem Iqbal Bukhari, Director
Development & Planning Wajid Ali Shah, Director Admin PHA Rana Qazzafi and
other officers of the relevant departments.
While presiding
over the meeting the Commissioner Saqib Zafar directed of not cut down trees
which stands in sites and surrounding area of the ongoing development scheme.
He further directed that no left other material should be remaining scattered
both on the sites and surrounding area of the completion of development works.
He further directed concerned officials to launch the
special Anti-Encroachment campaign to remove all types of encroachments have
