BAHAWALPUR(PR)District Co-ordination Officer Bahawalpur Dr. Ehtisham Anwer Mahaar has directed the concerned authorities of social welfare department to start the developmental work at Daar-ul-Atfaal (Male & Female) and Daar-ul-Falaah which is aimed to provide decent and comfortable social amenities to the residents of these institutions. He issued these directions while presiding over a review meeting of the supervisory department of these institutions social welfare and Bait-ul-Maal here at his office.
The meeting was attended by EDO finance and Planning and community development; senior district officer social welfare and other officers of the social welfare department.
Executive district officer finance and planning and community development briefed the DCO about various measures undertaken to provide necessary facilities to the residents of Daar-ul-Atfaal (Male & Female) and Daar-ul-Falaah.
"Only orphan children should be admitted at these facilities while un-deserving children should be sent out to accommodate the deserving ones", The DCO underlined.
He further directed that comprehensive and planned measures should be taken under medical social services project to provide free medicines to the deserving patients out of ZAKAT fund.
District Co-ordination Officer also directed EDO finance and planning to immediately release development funds to launch development work of Daar-ul-Atfaal (Male & Female) and Daar-ul-Falaah.

Section 144 Imposed
BAHAWALPUR (PR)DCO Bahawalpur Dr. Ehtisham Anwer Mahaar has banned the entry of unconcerned persons under section 144 within the radius of 100 meters of the examination centers for first annual exams of B.A and B.Sc held under Islamia University Bahawalpur in district Bahawalpur. This order comes into effect immediately.
