Bahawalpur (PR )The selection committee of the Islamia
University of Bahawalpur interviewed candidates for various administrative
posts including director information technology, director planning &
development, chief security officer, principal transport officer and system
analyst. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Qaiser Mushtaq, Vice Chancellor
and members included Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asgher Hashmi, dean faculty of Science,
Prof. Dr. Mahmood Ahmad, dean faculty of Pharmacy and Alternative Medicine and
Dr. Abdul Sattar Khan, Registrar. Previously, these seats were big assigned as
additional charge to various dedicated faculty members and officers. However,
the Vice Chancellor directed to hire officials through proper procedure ensuring
meritocracy.

of Mathematics, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is going to defend her PhD
dissertation on Friday 22nd July 2016 at 10:00 am in Mathematics department,
faculty of Science, Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus. She has completed her PhD
dissertation under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tahir Mahmood, Chairman,
Department of Mathematics, IUB. The topic of her dissertation is “Study of some
nonlinear fluid flows between stretching disks”. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ozair Ahmad,
HoD, Department of Mathematics, University of Lahore and Prof. Dr. Muhammad
Mushtaq, Chairman, Department of Mathematics, University of Engineering and Technology,
Lahore will act as external examiners. The teachers, M.Phil and Ph.D Scholars
are invited to attend the defense.
