3 lakh and 50 thousand saplings and plants would be planted in district Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR(PR)As many as 3 lakh and 50 thousand saplings and plants would be planted in district Bahawalpur during the current moon soon tree plantation drive. District officers of various departments which include: - EDO Agriculture Chaudhry Tanveer Ahmad, EDO Education Chaudhry Bashir Ahmad, EDO Health Dr. Shahid Khaliq and EDO Community Development Aftab Ahmad Peerzada planted saplings of different plants to inaugurate tree plantation campaign in their respective departments.

The officers maintained that to meet the growing challenges of climate change tree plantation may play the role of a game changer by mitigating the impacts of climate change on human lives along-with helping recreate natural echo system which is vital for human life.

The tree plantation inauguration ceremonies of Agriculture department, Health department, Education department and Community Development department were attended by the staff of respective departments.

EDO Education  has initiated disciplinary action against absentee 10 members of teaching staff

BAHAWALPUR(PR)EDO Education Chaudhry Bashir Ahmad has initiated disciplinary action against absentee 10 members of teaching staff and 3 employees of class four of government junior model girls high school and government girls high school Habib colony Bahawalpur. These government employees were found absent from their duties during his surprise visit, here, today. Later, he also visited government girls elementary school Basti Bindra.

During his visit of government junior model girls high school Bahawalpur Headmistress Shahida Kosar and 9 female teachers which include:- Rabia Rasheed, Nayyar Sultana, Irum Saleem, Nelofar Liaqat, Farkhanda Anwer, Sumera Gulzar, Fouzia Batool, one teacher Atiq-ur-Rehman and three employees of class four which include:- Gulam Nabi, Ghulam Abbas and Muhammad Bilal were found absent from their duties. Similarly, 2 female teachers Robina Majeed and Tasneem Akhter of government girls high school Habib colony were also not present on their duties.

EDO education expressed his displeasure over poor sanitary conditions. He directed to the Headmistresses to take urgent necessary measures to improve the cleanliness in the schools. He also directed to sharpen the vigil to extend fool proof security cover in the schools.
