jointly organized by Bahawalpur Arts Council &IRC held at Rashidia Auditorium
Enthusiastic participation of the students at the workshop is

forces of darkness, extremism & terrorism by practically supporting

BAHAWALPUR(PR) Peaceful,
tolerant & progressive societal frame work is vital to sharpen the pace of
an egalitarian polity which requires active, vigorous and vibrant participation
of our youth. This was stated by various speakers at the concluding session of
2-day workshop on the subject of peace building and promoting art & culture
jointly organized by Bahawalpur Arts Council, held at Rashidia Auditorium
Bahawalpur.
The
speakers include Resident Director Bahawalpur Arts Council Rana Ajaz, Deputy
Director Information Nasir Hameed, Director Interactive Resource Center
Muhammad Waseem, Prof. Dr. Shahzad Rana. The ceremony was also attended by
prominent journalist Madam Sumaira Danish & co-ordinator IRC Athar Jahania.
Rana Ajaz said

Deputy
Director Information Nasir Hameed said that art promote cultural pluralism
which binds various segments of society through strong and effective societal
linkages. He paid rich tribute to the organizers of the workshop for promoting
art & literature. Prof. Dr. Shahzad Rana while speaking on the occasion
maintained that extra-curricular activities sharpen the esthetic & intellectual
faculty of the youth.
Director
IRC Muhammad Waseem said that IRC has designed training manuals to impart
training in various disciplines which include: photography; visual art;
painting; music; interactive theater and citizen journalism.
