BAHAWALPUR (PR)The list of applicants for the
allotment of state land to Cholistani peasant under Chief Minister Punjab
Cholistan Package have been displayed at the offices of seven union councils of
Cholistan area in the three Districts of Bahawalpur Division. The displayed
lists include the names of all the applicants whose applications have been
approved or rejected after initial scrutiny for public awareness. All rejected
applicants may submit their written applications till February 7th
to the specially constituted redressal committees establish at the offices of
three Deputy Commissioners in Bahawalpur Division. The redressal committees are
headed by Retired Judges of High Court and Session Courts. This was stated by
Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Bahawalpur. “Under the direction of
Chief Minister Punjab, the displayed lists carrying the names of both rejected
or approved applicants are aimed to provide maximum access to the applicants to
seek redressal of their grievances through transparent mechanism of allotment”
Commissioner maintained.
He further said that separate
lists of approved and rejected applicants have been displayed at the offices of
seven union councils of Cholistani area of the three districts of Bahawalpur
division include: four at Bahawalpur district; one at District Bahawal Nagar
and two at District Rahim yar Khan. “All rejected applicants have been asked to
submit their written applications at especially constituted cell of the
district redressal committees till Feb. 7th positively” Commissioner
Noted. He further said that the District Redressal committees to hair the
appeals of applicants are headed by the retired Judge of High Court and Retired
Judges of District and Session Courts. The three committees have been
established at the three Districts of Bahawalpur Division, whose members
include concerned Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners of Rahaim
yar Khan, Bahawal Nagar and Bahawalpur. He further said that the separate lists
of both approved and rejected applicants have also been compiled in book shape
and are available with the secretaries of seven Union Councils of Bahawalpur
division.
