BAHAWALPUR(PR)Punjab Government has launched a comprehensive kitchen
gardening program which would promote a modern culture of cultivating
vegetables by the people at their homes in 36 districts of Punjab Province.
This was stated by Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Commerce and MNA Mian
Najeeb-ud-Din Awaisi while presiding over a meeting held in connection with
kitchen gardening at the office of Director Agriculture Extension.
The meeting was attended by Director Agriculture Chaudhry Mohammad Munir, Deputy
Director Mian Manzoor Ahmad, Assistant Director Hafiz Muhammad Shafiq, farmers
and cultivators and other officers and officials of the concerned departments.

Economic Development Forum has donated first batch of medicines
amounting to
Rs. 2.1 million for the treatment of 200 patients of Hepatitis 'C' to
the
Medical Superintendent of Bahawal Victoria Hospital Dr. Rao Javed
Akhter. The delegation of Bahawalpur Economic Development Forum who
handed over
the medicines include:- Dr. Rana Mohammad Tariq, Dr. Munir Azhar
