BAHAWALPUR(PR)Prof. Dr. Qaiser Mushtaq, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur

discipline, infrastructure development and research compatible with national

member delegation of probationary officers from Civil Services Academy Lahore. He
said that a congenial environment is necessary to flourish academic activity at

university. He added that he believes in development of human resources, in this
regard five training courses were arranged in collaboration with HEC for 300
staff members. The long delayed development projects have been completed
including Agriculture College, Faculty of Education, Sports Complex and
Bahawalnagar Campus besides establishing of state of the art Study Park for
girl students. Thousands of pending degrees have been issued through conduct of
5 convocations in a period of two years. Pakistan Engineering Council and
Pakistan Veterinary and Medical Council have accredited relevant education
programmes at IUB. Similarly, the University is also ranked 2nd
