100 Birth Anniversary of Ali Ahmad Rifat Celebrated

BAHAWALPUR(By Sumaira Danish)Founder of "Daily Sutlej" Famous Poet,Journalist,Politician,Writer,Translator, Researcher and Critic Ali Ahmad Rifat's Annual 100Birth Anniversary was celebrated with excitement and respect on July 1 yesterday.on this Occasion a Simple ceremony was Organized by Ali Ahmad Rifat Trust office. Members of Board of Trust and Staff of the Trust was present. In the ceremony special pray was held for the late Ali Ahmad Rifat.Chairman of Ali Ahmad Rifat Trust  And Chief Executive Sutlej Publications Fazal Hameed Ahmad  cuts the Cake.

Ali Ahmad Rifat was born on July 1 1916 in Chak no 180  GAF B  District Faisalabad . His father Rahmatullah was a Landlord.ali Ahmad Rifat did his Matriculation from District Board High School Morusipur  Faisalabad.

He Arrive with their Parents in Chak no 54 fateh Bakshan Kahn tehsil Chishtian.

He was famous in the Business and Politics of Bahawalpur as "Rifat Group".Ali Ahmad Rifat Established Muslim Trading Company in 1939.Under Muslim Trading Company Traders Cooperative Bank Ltd Bahawalpur was also established in  which Ali Ahmad Rifat was Partner.

Ali Ahmad Rifat died on 14 July 1985.He spent his life with courage and honestly.

Daily Sutlej is still Publishing regularly from Three Districts Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Lodhran and it will always be  published inshallah.
